Last night's ALT.NET evening

I really enjoyed my 15 minutes of fame at last night's ALT.NET meeting. It was great to meet everyone, and I'm only sorry that I couldn't hang around for the after show drinks. Such is the cost of provincialism.

All the talks were good, but I especially enjoyed Seb Lambla's Open Rasta presentation, a very interesting RESTfull approach to ASP.NET. David De Florinier's talk on NServiceBus was also interesting since it's a tool I haven't had a chance to look at.

My talk was on Castle Windsor. You can download the slides here:

It looks like an update of your excellent DDD talk last year. Hopefully you'll be able to do a follow up at the next DDD.

I was registered with Skills Matter for last night, but had a 'mare in work and didn't finish until 7pm :(

  2. @ed I think they had around 120 registered, probably half showed up. I know what you mean, I've not gone to several of Ian's London .NET UG meetings that I've signed up for because of work pressures.

@Ed, Skills Matter filmed the whole evening, so you will be able to see the talk even though you deserted us :D

It typically takes them a week or so to put it online. Monitor to check when Mike's talk appears online.
