Not quite what I had in mind (as it uses the dlr code in side the xaml) but serves the point.preet sanghahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07027050079768738581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15136575.post-10633404040582345122009-07-05T21:54:09.341+01:002009-07-05T21:54:09.341+01:00DLR as declarative code? In a nutshell declarative code (dlr) and declarative markup (xaml) are a match made in heaven. I remember you messing about with Haskell I think or was it F# a few years ago adn I've read some of your posts on the subject. Yes I agree that the functional paradigm is compelling but the power of the DLR is completely orthogonal to this and we shouldn't be doing apples to oranges type comparisons.preet sanghahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07027050079768738581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15136575.post-31431299536902685752009-07-01T21:51:44.642+01:002009-07-01T21:51:44.642+01:00I see- just that one sentence was confusing, I did...I see- just that one sentence was confusing, I didn't mean to sound critical (which I think it sounds having re-read it). I certainly think F# will be worth learning. I don't think I'd bother with IronPython though.<br /><br />Roll on VS.NET 2010!Richard ODhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13855706515612188950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15136575.post-36540274677655922009-07-01T21:24:55.376+01:002009-07-01T21:24:55.376+01:00Richard OD,
